of the month. In March the meeting is generally held on the second
Wednesday of the month.

Hall refurbishment.
The refurbishment of the large hall in the Village
Hall is now completed and was officially opened on May 9th 2006.

Historical Society Acomb Historical
Society is preparing a new Winter Programme.
There'll be news about next season's programme later in the year.
At
the centre of every thriving village is a well used and maintained
village hall. Acomb is no exception. The Village Hall in Millersfield
is available for hire by individuals and organisations from
the village and beyond.
Amongst the regular events held in the hall are:
Women's Institute (Last Wednesday in the month)
Women's Fellowship (3rd Wednesday in the month)
Carpet Bowls (Tuesday evening)
IT Classes (Monday)
Dog Training Classes
Monday Club for Senior Citizens (Monday PM)
